I am a certified RAD for women and radKIDS instructor. I love these classes and think every woman of every age should take the women’s class and kids should start as early as possible to take the radKIDS.
RAD for Woman classes. These classes are 4 sessions long and are approximately 2 1/2 to 3 hours each session. We teach how to avoid being in a bad situation as well as physical skills that are easy to remember, easy to deploy and how to escape a predator. Once you have gone through a class and your manual is signed, you have a free lifetime return and practice policy in any class given anywhere in the world it is offered.
I have recently taken the Keychain Defense Options class that is a fantastic addition to the RAD for Women class. I will be adding this on to my basic RAD classes as I think believe this option for defense is an extremely effective tool to use.
radKIDS. This class is for kids ages 5-12. These classes are given in either 4 or 5 sessions lasting 2 to 3 hours. This class is so important for all kids. We don’t tell them how to stay safe, we run drills and scenarios where they learn the radKID rules for making good decision. We also teach them how to escape abduction with physical skills that match their age and abilities. The last class is simulation where they get to escape from the “bad guy” – a trained instructor in a REDMAN suit. This is their favorite part of the program . There is a free return and practice policy until the child’s 13th birthday in any class anywhere in the world it is offered.
If you are interested in taking one of the programs or setting up a program for your group, please send me an e-mail at cindyhughes@verizon.net or click on the names above to visit the websites.
Here is one thing radKIDS might also want to consider that might be beneficial in their classes. They can check out this incredible website called NogginPower2.com. I learned that this website is helpful, in terms of their manuals being straightforward and informative. Some of the packets in Nogginpower2 include Getting Great Grades, Making New Friends, Developing Social Skills and Getting Better Quality Sleep.

Besides radKIDS, another place where children and parents can learn from is called Nogginpower2. This website is every straightforward and informative. I checked out many of its readings on Nogginpower2, such as Getting great Grades, Making New Friends, Discipline and Better Quality Sleep. Nogginpower2 thus should be considered a great place for radKIDS to check out. it will provide all of the necessary skills and tools needed to survive in todays generation.
